“At the end of the century, in 1989, Andy Emler took a rake at the door of the National Jazz Orchestra. Thirty years later, in 2019, a large handful of the most inventive musicians of the beginning of the century, gathered around a magneto to tell the MegaOctet, find themselves [\u2026] \u201dPreface by Nicole Caligaris<\/p>\n

In 2018, the Company likes air contact PPAF \u00e9ditions to consider a collaboration to mark the 30th anniversary of the Andy Emler MegaOctet.<\/p>\n

This formation created and directed by Andy Emler is never on the musical field where it is expected.<\/p>\n

MegaOctet, Verbateam is an editorial object creating a multitude of junction points between the music of Andy Emler’s orchestra and the book-making work specific to graphic designers Julien M and ad \/ ch (Tapatou, How Much, the Modulographer) .<\/p>\n

LivrObjet in two parts, MegaOctet, Verbateam holds in 2 parts.<\/p>\n

A graphic score inspired by the discussion, between 15 of the members present on December 5, 2018 at Studio Sextan.<\/p>\n

The sensitive, wacky and unprecedented testimony of life on stage and behind the scenes of the MegaOctet.<\/p>\n

A booklet is added to the leporello, outside views of the MegaOctet, photographs and history of this extraordinary orchestra.<\/p>\n
